acamas is a place that can only survive on time and energy that so many people give unquestionably.
One organization that has provided people to help Vacamas, since May of 2001 is Americorp. Teams of 11 people from all over the country come together and make a 9 month commitment to serving needy organizations, like Vacamas. Americorp has provided us with numerous teams since May and continues to "Get things Done" . They have already assisted with the demanding task of registration, camp preparation, counselors for our summer camp program, and Teen Opportunity Program. From everyone at Vacamas: Americorp, keep doing what you are doing because you do it well. Thank you.
